A Louisana native, Dr. Nguyen grew up in Opelousas and is the second child out of three siblings. She attended Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, where she received her undergraduate degree in biology, and then received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from LSU School of Dentistry.
She also completed postgraduate training as an implant restorative fellow from LSUSD. Dr. Nguyen is very knowledge with full mouth restorative including all-on-4, hybrid dentures, implant over denture, braces, and more. She is dedicated to stay up-to-date with the latest dental materials and technology through continuing education courses. She is a member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Tarrant County Dental Association.
Her hobbies include baking and crafts. She also loves working with children.
Dr. Thanh- Xuan Nguyen
Dr. Kim was born and raised in South Korea. After completing his first year of college, he moved to the United States with his family where he graduated summa cum laude from Virginia Commonwealth University with a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry. His passion for science led him to pursue dentistry from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry in Richmond, Virginia. After completing dental school, Dr. Kim practiced in the picturesque mountain city of Lynchburg, Virginia, for a few years before relocating to the DFW area.
Dr. Kim is deeply committed to building meaningful connections with his patients, focusing on establishing trust and fostering long-term relationships. He is dedicated to providing personalized and patient-centered care, constantly striving to stay updated with the latest dental techniques and knowledge through continuous education. Outside the office, Dr. Kim enjoys quality time with his wife, who shares his love for travel, exploring new restaurants, and capturing culinary delights through photography. He also cherishes moments spent with his cat, Fanta, and his dog, Cola.
Dr. Thomas Kim
Dr. Basta was born and raised in Southeast Texas and later moved to Austin to attend the University of Texas. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Human Biology, concentrating in Cellular, Molecular, and Developmental Biology. As an added bonus, it was there she met her husband, Chase, a Montana transplant who tolerates the hot Texas weather surprisingly well.
Following her time in Austin, she headed to Dallas to attend Texas A&M College of Dentistry, remaining active in community and volunteer opportunities in the DFW area and graduating with honors in 2019.
Her passion for dentistry stems from her desire not only to improve the health of her patients, but to give them the confidence they deserve with a smile they can be proud of. She strives to provide comprehensive and comfortable care, tailoring every experience to the needs of her patients.
Outside of work, Dr. Basta stays very busy at home with her husband, three young children, and rescue dog Marilo. Together, they enjoy all of the wonderful things Texas has to offer- lots of sunshine, great BBQ, and Dallas Cowboys football.
